Our Story

Since opening our doors in 1993, Rick’s Jewelers has been proud to serve the Southern Maryland community as a family-owned and operated business built on craftsmanship, trust, and personal connection.

Rick began his journey in the jewelry industry in 1976, learning the trade from the ground up and developing a deep passion for both design and repair. With a vision to create something of his own, he took a leap of faith and opened Rick’s Jewelers in 1993.

For over two decades, we called the San Souci Shopping Center in California, MD home. In 2016, we made the exciting decision to relocate just a half mile south to a standalone storefront along the busy Route 235 corridor, allowing us to expand our space and better serve our growing customer base.

Today, Rick works alongside his daughter, continuing the tradition as a second-generation jeweler. Together, they bring a unique blend of experience and fresh perspective to the bench. As GIA-certified jewelers, both offer a wealth of knowledge, precision craftsmanship, and a shared commitment to excellence in every piece they create or restore.
